god I hope so! DS has a serious daddy preference now. He sobbed when I took him out of bed so papa could get a few more minutes sleep yesterday.

This is what I try to do too. We have regularly scheduled things 3 mornings a week so that helps since we've basically committed to be at them. I try to take DS swimming one of the 2 free mornings and let us just be lazy the other morning. Afternoons are for sleep, TV/computer time, and dinner prep. I'm exhausted by 3pm usually.

That's totally normal. I have four children and have always needed more rest and gotten less than usual done when I was pregnant.

Yes! I'm still having morning sickness and feeling tired. I also work full time, so it's hard to come home to a 2 year old who is constantly on the go. DH helps a lot, but he's been so busy with work lately. DS has been watching lots of Curious George lately so I can take a rest.

Yup, totally normal!

Just remember that while the first child gets more of your one on one attention, the second child gets the love (and the squabbles) of an older sibling, which has been invaluable to my second child. He ADORES his sister. I love watching my two and seeing how much they love each other.

Ooooh yes.

We ended up joining a playspace, which we couldn't really afford but it was soooo worth it. I could sit on a bench and be a blob and vaguely watch her (while trying not to fall asleep), while she ran around in a safe environment, made a mess that I didn't have to clean up, did art projects and whatever that someone else led, and so on.

Yep. It is totally normal to feel this way. It gets a little worse everytime.
