unless in the car, dd1 (just turned 3) stopped napping around 2. back then, bedtime was 10pm & she would get up for the day around 10am & take one short nap.
lately, bedtime starts much earlier now...for a few reasons but mostly, cuz frankly, with the baby too, i just needed my day to end earlier. she gets into bed on avg at 8:30, we read a story & then she watches something on this small portable dvd player & falls asleep. could be anywhere from 9-10pm & she has been waking between 8-9 am. once in awhile, she will sleep till 10am.

) . Doesn't nap, unless in the car. DH usually hasn't left for the day by the time the kids wake up - but I wouldn't wake them just to see him. I never wake them unless I have to. A couple times a week he ends up getting home later than their bedtime, and just sees them in the morning.

And, I don't think dh would like it either (we'd slow him down). He goes in that early so that he can get off at 4:30 in the afternoon. He's home by 5 or 5:15, and we see him in the evening.
DH is currently in school so we don't see him 2 mornings a week, and sometimes other mornings as well when he works the day shift (6am-6pm). Course' when he workst he night shift we don't see him then (6pm-6am). Just depends
