DD is 11.5 mo, and is pretty well versed in solids- we do BLW and she eats what we eat. Over the last few days she has started spitting out any food that we feed her with a spoon- for example, tonight we were having stew- we eat it with a spoon, why shouldn't she, right? Every bite I'd feed her, she'd spit it out. It's not that she didn't *like* it, she just abhors the idea of being fed.
So I started loading up the spoon and giving it to her to feed herself. Should she be able to do this herself if I get her a bowl with a suction cup on the bottom? (she chucks everything on the floor).
What can do at other people's houses/in restaurants? It's very messy business.
At what age did your babies start spoon feeding themselves?
