I am pregnant with #2 and this time around it is a bit different than with my first. I am about 20lbs heavier and have PCOS and Hypothyroid this time around. Sadly in the past year my blood pressure has started to be borderline and I will have to be put on something while pregnant.
Before conceiving I was on Labetolol and felt awful on it, so I weaned off of it and quit taking it while monitoring my blood pressure. I have had pretty normal readings of 123/79 on average, but at the Dr's today I was 154/80.
I know though it can be serious if not treated to mine and the baby's health, however I didn't like what I read about labetolol and pregnancy.
Does anyone recommend a particular medication best during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Thanks for any pointers...

I am going to buy a blood pressure monitor on Fri and monitor for the next couple weeks, if it keeps at bay I may not have to go on medicine, but a good chance I could still.
