Lyndzies: Looking forward to reading your birth annoucement I hope everything is going well!!!!

I went to my OB yesterday and had an ultrasound. I was shocked.... girls are measuring at 5.4 lbs and 5.2 lbs. OB was very pleased about growth. Twin A was practicing breathing during the ultrasound when the tech was trying to do the doppler... what an amazing sound! Twin B is still breech. Who knows if she will turn... we had a discussion about the birth plan and the OB said that she is comfortable delivering twin B breech if it comes to that. Hopefully she will turn on her own and they will try to turn her first. I guess a lot of things need to happen before it gets to that point anyway. My cervix is still long and there is lots of fluid around the babies so all is looking well at this point.

Wowsers Lyndzies 10 lbs 9 oz!

That is one very big first baby!

Here I am all proud of DD at 9 lbs 8 oz and DS at 9 lbs 1 oz!

My sister's first was 10 lbs 11 oz, but she was almost 2 weeks overdue (were you that far over?)... she also ended up with a c/s. I'm glad to hear that all is well though, and that CJ is doing well nursing. Those cheeks are amazing! We need more pics!

Hi to everyone else... just about to start my work for tonight and really have little time for personals.

I do have time to share my little monkey though...

Good, I haven't posted any pics yet because DH FORGOT THE CAMERA and so friends took pics but I have to get the memory card from my one friend before I can post em. It was really nice, DH picked up DD from school early and told her what we were doing and she was super excited and very into it, DH held it together and didn't cry (I am very good at holding these things in when in public, him not always, and I thought he'd be bawling and I wouldn't ) the ceremony was at 3, we were at dinner by about 4:15 and by 9 we were tucked up in our bed! We had called my mother to come meet us for dinner and she called DH and tried to back out but he said "you HAVE to come" so she thought something was up and she was actually happy when we told her we'd gotten married (I was afraid she would be upset that we kept it a secret but she was great). DH's family were a bit offended I think, we went for his mother's bday dinner last night and his sibs said "congratulations" but didn't ask anything about the wedding, it was not brought up at all after that. Do you think that's weird? Anyway, we did it like we wanted to and it was great! AND I can wear my wedding band because DH got it 1/2 a size bigger than my engagement ring, which I can't wear most days. So now it's all about nesting and waiting for our little guy to join the family!

Congrats lyndzies! Wow, so big and beautiful! Very happy for you, enjoy your baby and I hope you are feeling better soon!

Congrats Qbear on your wedding! I got married when I was pregnant too, 5 months? And got a bigger band. I just this year upgraded to a thinner, smaller better fitting band, of course now that I'm pregnant again I might need to size up again. LOL.

AFM - 24 weeks tomorrow! I love the weeks that are multiples of 4. I'm 60% there! And in other news, seem to be having the 14th yeast infection of this pregnancy. I don't know what the he** is going on down there, but I haven't even been this unlucky in this regard EVER in my life. Ugggggggggg. Makes me cranky.

Hope everyone is well - life is busy but my boys are watching a quick blues clues before bed so I have approximately 22 minutes to catch up on my life!

One of our good friends found out he was being deployed probably a year to 18 months recently. He's in training now over here in Maryland since he'll be working shock trauma wherever he ends up.
I hope at the very least you guys can have some decent contact with each other. How long does he have left or is he career?
