Placentatious !

Hey all you UC professional mamas!

i wanted to ask if i may about the Placenta birthing
in my previous birth (of my first charmo ) the midwife pulled the placenta (i was so high on my baby that i can not recall how long have passed since the birth and until the placenta was out) and i do remember i have had a strange sort of pain sensation in my womb area but it didnt bothered my much - was she doing right ? i mean is it an ok to pull the placenta?
i am asking mostly because i am planning on an UC (within 4 weeks thank you ) and my husband is wondering if he should be doing the same
and so am i frankly , although i believe it should be out naturally on its own ..
any assistance would be highly appreciated

cheers

Do not pull the placenta out!!! It can cause you to hemorrage. Wait for it to detach naturally and then when you feel the need, you can push it out with a contraction or let it slide out. Whichever the case may be at the time. It's bad to pull out the placenta still attached!!

Hopefully, more experienced mommas will attach some links for you. I didn't save any links. I just remembered from all the research I've been doing. I'm also UC'ing in a couple of weeks. Hopefully, any day now within the next 2 weeks. My hubby is leaving again in 2 weeks unless I have this baby right before he goes. Otherwise, he will have to wait to fly back after the actual birth and I do not really want to birth this baby by myself without him and I don't have friends here that won't freak out. (Or family for that matter and they don't even live in the same state.)

southernmommie! im crossing fingers for you!!

i do hope the baby will come in time for his/her to see his father!!!
are you planing to UC at home or the hospital ?
my plan is to have it at home probably in our bathtub...
regarding my placenta incident (it was my first birth and i was feeling like i am completely out of my body and that my body alone is taking charge of whatever was happening and so i didnt really noticed that the midwife was about to pull my placenta out!)
is your husband supportive of you?
i do really wish you can have the baby together a great guy to relay onto in such amazing moments is a true necessity
