You thoughts on 11mo rash?

So this is my son's rash. This is his only symptom. Actually, he had a red anus, but that has since subsided.

I thought initially it was dairy, so I cut out all dairy. Then on Friday, I gave him few bites of brick cheese and the rash came back full force. So I cut it out completely and I haven't really ate it either (he's still breastfed).

But he has no repiratory issues or gut issues or anything. Just this awful, itchy rash on his face. What is your best guess as to what it is?? Does a dairy sensitivity last this long??? my poor baby.

Sounds like a dairy reaction. Normally reactions are 1-4 days, but dairy takes some time to clear (and if you are eating any dairy, that may be increasing the length of his reaction).

Did you by any chance add in soy as a sub for dairy? Lots of kids that react to dairy also react to soy.

No sleep issues? spit up issues? clinginess?

Still sounds like dairy if it was starting to go away and then came back when you reintroduced it. You could start a food journal to see if there are any other foods...
