ways to help labor

Okay. Here's my predicament. Hubby is military. He leaves in 2 weeks. Command will not leave him behind unless its for his baby leave. Good news is that I'm already having birthing waves which means that the birth is within a few weeks. My concern is if I don't start birthing until after he leaves. I normally go through 2-3 weeks of prebirthing waves. But I don't have the luxury of that last week, ya know. So what are some ways I can help it along next week?? What do you recommend from experience? Normally, I am not one to help it along. I'm all for letting the birth come on its own time. (I'm already taking EPO orally and RRL tea.)

I took castor oil not thinking it'd do anything for labor since I wasn't dilated or effaced but went into labor that night so i guess I'll say that def. worked for me. I only took 1-2 tablespoons.

Going with a family tradition here, but my wife's family has been using rhubarb pie for four generations. It works. We had rhubarb pie the day before baby came.
