Brown Bag Lunch Ideas, PLEASE!

Thread Starter
I am currently 32 weeks preggo and absolutely bored to tears with packing a daily lunch. Any ideas for an exciting way to brown bag it? I am not vegetarian but I do not eat red meat; chicken, turkey, fish are all fine. I have a strong adversion to eggs, although not allergic I typically do not eat. I'm completely open to any and all ideas. Any WOHM mamas who have some good ideas on what I can pack? I do have access to refrigerator and microwave at work. I have no food allergies. Many thanks in advance

I mostly stick with sandwiches or leftovers. With some fresh veggies on the side.

Some ideas:
bagel sandwiches - I put cream cheese and whatever veggie I've got.
tuna melts - not quite as boring as a tuna sandwich
chicken salad sandwich or wrap
soup - I make potato soup alot and its very filling
salads - any kind of veggie with some grilled chicken or something on top
wraps - you can put anything in there
smoothies

Turkey, brie, and cranberry chutney sandwich

Turkey, bacon, mango chutney, onion, mayo, cheddar

Turkey, avocado, some sort of flavored mayo, tomato

I really don't eat that many turkey sandwiches, i promise

today I had a salad with spinach, dollop of goat cheese, handful of grape tomatoes, grilled chicken breast seasoned with italian seasoning, (extra made with dinner last night), handful of WW bowtie pasta, and balsamic dressing. delicious!
Put it together in layers so the greens stay crisp, have dressing on the side.

I do a variation on a spinach salad many days. If i get bored, then decide to throw it all in a wrap for a while.

other good things are make-ahead burritos, with grilled meat, salsa, cheese, grilled veggies in a wrap- roll and put into a panini maker or foreman grill to get it to stick together and microwave at work.
I do this with rice, sweet corn salsa, chicken, grilled peppers, cheddar cheese in a whole wheat wrap. so good.

crunchy pb on whole wheat toast/bread with an apple, and carrot sticks with hummus. I keep PB in my desk drawer, bc I am a PB junkie.

grilled chicken with greens and roasted tomato hummus on sandwich thins.

leftover pasta with italian seasoned chicken sausage and tomato sauce. just heat in microwave and enjoy!

So glad to find this thread. I'm totally over what I've been packing.

But some things I bring are:

Chicken salad- Bake chicken breasts in the oven, cut it up, toss with onion powder, salt, pepper, yogurt or mayo, red grapes, celery and walnuts. I can eat it by itself, in lettuce leaves, or on a whole grain bagel.

Browned ground turkey with taco seasoning and black beans with tortillas and taco toppings.

Those are my favs. There are many lunch failures around my house.

I always have low fat yogurt with honey and granola (or cottage cheese), two pieces of fruit, and veggies with hummus. It's properly balanced, but I need some lunch box excitement.

I make all of these ahead then pack
black bean burritos
fish tacos
tofu and veg stir fry
loaded salad (the possibilities are endless here)
sandwiches, grilled or not
wraps, grilled or not
chili and cornbread
homemade pizza
quesadillas
veggie sushi (I have done this but have a hard time keeping it fresh overnight)
soups of all kinds
pastas (cold and hot)
