Overeaters Anonymous

Does anyone have any experience with Overeaters Anonymous?
Has is helped anyone here with their eating issues? I'd love to hear about experiences.

I do have experience with Alcholics Anonymous and have been sober for 18 years. I would not be alive much less sober with out Alcholics Anonymous.
Overeaters Anonymous uses the exact same steps that Alcholics use. the steps are where you will get your spiritual awakening, like Oprah's AAAAAHH moment. The steps are your keys to living a better life and learning to deal with life on lifes terms....with out eating when you are not hungary.

If you go to a meeting I would meet some people and always stay after the meeting to talk to people, don't run out as soon as the meeting is over. These people will love you unconditionally and give you all the support you need. A lot of Alcholics are overeaters too and we talked about those meetings. PM me if you need any help or find a group that you just don't like, there are so many meetings out there, you just need to find the right one.
