Mouse!

I hate mice. Not the little pet things, but the little 'sneak into your house and smirk at you from the kitchen counter' type... I type the latter having just run beneath my stove.

ICK!!

I loved mice and kept a few until one ate the other, lol.I found them living in my old car too. Now I just set snap traps all over and toss the dead ones.

Solution of this morning- run out for cream for my coffee before feeding cat. I came home to the cat in the kitchen with a dead mouse in his paws. The mouse was removed from him as I have an aversion to shredded rodent bits around the house, but he did get some of the cream.

Two of our cats ate three mice yesterday. Between them. Outside, not in the house. Last week, three cats found one very large (pg?) mouse inside, and I killed it with a broom swat and let them eat it outside. My inside cat doesn't like any sort of meat, including mice. My outside cats are mousers.

This particular cat was a 'barn kitten' and I got him with the hope that he would be a good mouser. Until then however, he'd really filled the role of 'lap warmer' far more happily. My oldest cat who was a fabulous mouser is now toothless and half blind, so she's not much help either. Good thing they're cute.
