Resolved: Waiting for increased inbox space

Paid for 2 year subscription but my inbox space hasn't increased. Am I missing something?

I'm not seeing a Supporting Membership in your account just yet. (the little purple icon would be under your name, as well)

Did you pay by funded Paypal ($ already sitting in your Paypal account), credit card paypal, or e-check paypal ($ needed to be pulled from your bank account)?

If it was an e-check, Paypal generally holds funds for 3-4 business days to make sure they've really cleared a bank account before signaling a website that a user paid. If you paid with one of the other methods, send an email to administrator@mothering.com with your Paypal receipt and Admin can fix you up!

I'm sorry! I think Paypal is more stringent lately. I used e-check just over a week ago to pay for an item online (hadn't actually meant to - I wanted to use my CC Paypal). Paypal held onto my funds for the FULL 4 business days which took me into the weekend, meaning it didn't clear (ie inform the site that I 'paid') until Monday.

You can check how you paid if you login to Paypal, click 'Payments Sent' then click details on the MDC one. If it says "Related Transaction Type Add Funds from a Bank Account" it means it was an e-check. It should say the status of the clearing there. If it doesn't say that, it means it wasn't an e-check. So definitely email admin so they can check the MDC Paypal account to see what's up.

Ok, so is there any way to change "just" a subscription to the magazine to a Supporting membership?
That's really annoying that it's somehow different.

Oh man! I'm so sorry! I didn't realize you didn't pay through your UserCP.

I'm not sure how Mothering will 'officially' adjust your mag subscription to include the perks here at MDC because the whole setup and payment databases are different. I know it can be done manually, but I'm not sure if the Mothering subscription office has to adjust it or if our admin here can.

So ~ Definitely send that email and I'll flag admin to take a look here, too!!

Yeah, somehow I've managed to just be coasting along through life with 2 brain cells who don't know how to communicate or something and totally forgot that there was a payment option through MDC itself.
I've emailed "products@mothering.com" because I don't know who else to contact.
Boy, is my face red.

So who do I contact to get a receipt? Because the money has been out of my bank for 8 days at this point with no receipt being emailed to me. Perhaps it's in the mail?

Hmm. I think this may be related to the issue I had  here, so please forgive me for reviving an old thread here, but...  My Mothering subscription came today... Except, instead of one magazine, I have received 2. I know I got a 2 year subscription, but I was hoping it meant 2 separate years. shy.gifwinky.gif
