Thoughts? Has any one done this/ had experience with it?
My son is 12 months, and weaned himself when my milk changed due to pregnancy. I am due with my second in just over 4 months. DS will be 16 months at that time, and will have been not nursing for 4-5 months.
I'd was hoping to tandem nurse, but I'm having conflicting thoughts now that he doesn't nurse at all. I had originally thought that we'd wean somewhere between 18 mos and 2 years.
Dh thinks it would be wrong to offer when he doesnt really need it after the new baby comes-- that I'd be doing it for me and not for him. I understand what he's saying, but i feel conflicted-- I mean, if he's still taking a bottle at that point, what's the harm in letting him nurse?
