DS's sweat tastes like vinegar

I know that salty sweat is a sign of CF but DS's sweat tastes more like vinegar to me. Not that I'm licking him on a regular basis but if I kissed his head when he was sweaty, I'd notice a very acidic taste. I tried to do a search online but didn't really yield anything. There was alot about ketones (sp?) that make an acetone smell but this is definately more acidic than chemical. Am I just crazy or is this something to look into further? I wasn't sure if this was the place to post so feel free to move me, Mods, if there's a better board.

And I guess I should add that he doesn't exhibit any intolerances/allergies (at least in the traditional ways) 50th percentile for weight and height, generally happy, playful, active.

How is his salt/mineral intake? Could he need more good, quality salt?

Ok, I guess? I try to limit his processed food intake. He still nurses 5-7 times in 24 hrs. He gets salt through bread, cheerios, yogurt, cheese...I don't salt food directly but don't go out of my way to avoid it other than staying away from processed foods. Interesting thought, though. I guess I don't really think about salt. I should clarify that there is a salt taste to his sweat, too, it's just very acidic also.

Can you get some pH paper and measure his? You can do saliva and urine and it's relatively cheap. His pH could be out of range.
