Do you ever CLEAN your kids' legos? - Page 2

When we hauled home the legos which had been in my parents' basement for two decades, I soaked them in hot water + dish soap in the utility sink overnight.

I would put the kids in the tub and have a toy washing party.

We pour them in the bath every so often. Works well.

Never. And most of them are from when my brothers were kids. Those are some old Lego's! Occasionally we clean out the dust at the bottom of the bucket.

I have never seen dusty Legos before, and I have them everywhere, LOL.

I have tons and tons of Legos as my oldest, a boy, is 16 and all my other boys have really been in to them so we have years and years of Lego gift receiving.

Since when things get touched, the dust comes off, I think if the Legos were getting dusty sitting there, I would put them in a rubbermaid container and store them until they kids become more interested. Then it would make dusting the table easier.

My aunt owned a laundromat when I was a kid and we just put plastic toys (from the kids play area) in a mesh bag and ran them through the washers.
