Hi, all.

I've been having some pain deep inside my left breast for 2 days now. Nipples are fine, no pain to the touch, no evidence of yeast elsewhere with me or with baby, no redness, no fever.

I've read that it could be thrush in the ducts, but I don't have *any* of the risk factors- I've got a wicked good immune system, haven't been on antibiotics in over a year, don't eat a lot of refined carbs, and don't have diabetes. I've read Dr. Newman's yeast protocol, and will def give it a try if this doesn't clear up soon. It feels like an icepick is stabbing me while nursing, and a dull, lingering ache at all other times.

I had a similar pain on the right side a few days ago, and just assumed it was a blocked duct that, for whatever reason, I couldn't feel externally. With massage and more nursing, it went away.

I *do* have vasospasm, esp on the left side, and it's been getting colder out, so I've been getting symptoms again. I haven't had any pain or blanching since last winter (started when I was still pregnant), but could it be related to that?

Thanks!

eta- hmm, I may have posted too soon- hardly any discomfort with her last nursing session, but it's a lot warmer out today. If I catch a chill and it gets worse, I'll update again. Fingers crossed that it's no biggie!
