natural remdies/healing encyclopedia recommendations

I am a young mom and am trying my best to become more green and natural. so far so good, however i still give DD motrin and what not on Drs orders...besides that i would love to learn and explore natural remedies for illnesses and common issues. all of the people on here have helped me alot already and i know you all must have some great recommendations for me.

so anyone have a good natural encyclopedia for me?
any other books on getting started with natural remedies ect?

If you're interested in herbal remedies, you might check out the books by Aviva Jill Romm. She has one called Naturally Healthy Babies and Children that is a good reference for common ailments and suggested herbal remedies for them.
