How does limited exposure to the media impact the gifts that your kids ask for when it comes to birthdays and holidays?
Our kids don't really ask for anything. How do you come up with ideas?
I'm not complaining, but sometimes it feels weird to be buying what I want the kids to have rather than what they ask for. They love the gifts they get, but I still wonder about the situation.

. But many times he will see something that looks good to him. He was looking a boardgame that he wants for his b-day.
But he doesn't have a lot of specific requests. In trying to think back over any actual requests I do recall him saying he wanted a digger type truck. he asked for tempera paints once and last christmas said he wanted some toy fruit and an umbrella. lol.
