Can your attorney file a continuance? Surely the timing and how it impacts college could be used to delay it to a time when it doesn't have such an impact. It will be a drag to drag this out more, but it will show your stbx that he doesn't get to call the shots. Maybe your attorney can get it scheduled for spring break?
