Anyone else just hate working at home?

I work at home watching other children during the day. I also make and sell baby items here and there, but the bulk of my income comes from daycare. Anyway, I just really HATE being stuck in my apartment all day... everyday. We do go outside and play with sidewalk chalk and the slide and such, but I mean I hate not GOING anywhere. It is getting to a point I'm almost depressed being at home so much.

I love being able to be home with my girls, but I hate that I can't take them to the zoo or to the library.... or even just out shopping.

I know, I'm just pretty much whining at this point, but figured some of you other mamas might be feeling the same way and feel like whining with me

Sounds like it is time for you to recruit a helper and take the kids out on a "field trip" to the zoo or something. Or to reading time at the library. You could create permission slips and the whole thing! Do you think the other mamas that bring their kids to you would be into that idea? They probs don't want their kids to be cooped up all the time either. Worth checking out, anyway.

I'm a full time student and I also do volunteer and freelance work, mostly at home.

I never thought that I would look forward to working outside the home... but I am. I find it nearly impossible to focus sometimes, and I get so little done because of the constant distraction of life all around me.
