Getting a bit concerned...

My right leg had one varicose vein from the start of this pregnancy and since then, I've had several more pop up, along with a bunch of spider veins. My other leg is fine. Why would only one leg have a problem like this? Should I be concerned? This has not been a problem for me in pregnancy before and I've lost weight and am only 20 weeks.

Do you cross your legs when you sit? Cause i do and i have more on one leg then the other and i was told it's from crossing your legs (especially during pregnancy)

No, not really. I'll sit Indian style at times, but that's about it.

Dunno why, but I have terrible vericose veins in my right leg only. This is my
3rd pregnancy and I've had them only in my rt. leg with each one!

I am 13 weeks into my third (ooops!) pregnancy, one which we weren't planning simply because of how bad the vericose veins and nerve pain were during my last pregnancy. In all three pregnancies I have experienced vericose veins in my right leg, as well as sciatica in my right leg and vulvar vericosities on the right side. I am under the impression that it has something to do with the way the baby puts pressure on your veins. After my first pregnancy, they disappeared (at least the pain did) but after my second, they never went away. I even had surgery to treat them with no improvements at all. The only recommendation I can make is: wear your compression hose! The medical kind, 20-30 mmHg.

I don't have vericose veins, but I do get vein pain.  I know that sounds weird, but there is a specific place behind my knee that will hurt really bad sometimes.  Anyway, my issues are always on the left.  And, they seem to be related to pressure from the baby, but more to misalignment.  A trip to the chiropractor seems to help me.

During my last pg they were only on my right leg, as well as a gnarly one on my right labia.  Tho, my mw assured me she'd seen much worse, they really squicked me out.  They went away right after giving birth -- within a week or so.
