great books for boys

My son is only 8, but he is interested in learning about puberty and stuff, and his older sister is just starting to get breasts and hair.

I have been finding awesome books for her, like First Moon and Cycle Savvy, but is there a book that is geared to a boy that has a positive spin on moontimes and is for intact boys vs. uncircumcised etc.?

It's So Amazing is...well, amazing! It's not geared specifically toward boys, but there is a section on each gender. And honestly, I think boys should know something about what the girls are going through, too! It's a terrific resource and perfect for his age.

I use a combination of It's So Amazing, It's Perfectly Normal, and What's Happening to Me.

As for circumcision, they all basically state that some boys are circumcised and some are not. No judgements. Just information.

I like the books already referenced, but I also like Puberty and All that Stuff.

It has stuff on boys and girls, is very straight forward and frank. My personal favorite cartoon is the steps to putting on a condemn, which is something I'd hadn't realized had steps before.

I wanted a book with chapter both about girl issues and boy issues because, even though both my kids are girls, I thought it best for them to have all the information. It also has different slang terms and what the mean, which was important to me.
