freezable soups?

I had a brainwave about Christmas gifts for my grandmother-in-law--she's a widower and I think I will make her a selection of a bunch of different kinds of soup, frozen in single-serving packages, and some homemade rolls to go with them. What kinds of soup would freeze well? Any suggestions?

I freeze lentil, black bean, and pumpkin soups. I make a French potato soup that is pureed that freezes well. Not sure if they're soups, but I also freeze chili and beef stew.
