DS [3 months] coughing/drooling..teething?

DS is totally cheerful - happy - no fever or any other signs of discomfort

He does however, have a cough. Not a raspy chest one, sort of a dry cough accompanied by a TON of drooling/gnawing on anything that comes in his way.

This is teething right? I know I should be more pro-active but it's 8pm here and I can't just pick up and go to the doctor because well, there's nothing open. And I am pretty sure it sounds like teething. He's still nursing/sleeping like a champ.

So peace of mine before I sleep tonight from anyone, or could it be something serious?

Mine was teething at a younger age than that, so it seems plausible to me.

My son started doing that around 3 months. He's 5 months now and still no teeth
