Hey mamas,

My name is Amber and I am pregnant with baby #3! My previous two pregnancies ended in very unwanted c-sections. I wasn't aware of anything but a hospital birth. Although, with my second pregnancy (My DD) I fought to have a VBAC but it was hard to find a doctor who performed them. It was a long fight and a long journey to say the least.

Now that I am more aware of my surroundings and options I have chosen to have a homebirth. I am more than ecstatic to be able to say that!

I want and need all the support I can get!

I'm also in the Houston area and am due in about 6 weeks with my 3rd HBAC baby. Are you currently expecting? Do you have a MW yet? It is so wonderful and empowering to make that decision to have a homebirth!

I am pregnant with #3! I just got a midwife the other day. We've been talking on and off for over a year now and she's wonderful. I'm so excited to be able to finally work with her!

Congrats, mama! I adore my midwife (Sandra McDonald), too. Truly, there's not much better than the perfect MW!

Thank you! I'll definitely check it out. It is nice to see mamas from the Greater Houston area. It makes me feel like us Texan mamas are educated and know we have rights and options!
