2nd chapter book suggestions?

My daughter really likes to read series of books. We are at the end of another series and seeking recommendations.

We have read:
the nancy drew notebook series
The marykate and ashley detective series
the cam jansen detective series
Clementine
Judy Moody

As you can see she is into mysteries and books that are funny.
Any ideas?

Fudge series by Judy Blume - very funny.
Herculeah Jones Mysteries - very mysterious.

The Enola Holmes series by Nancy Springer. Enola is the younger sister of Sherlock.

I can't recommend them personally, because I just found out about them and I haven't got my hands on them yet. They are supposed to be quite good.

What about The Diary of the Wimpy Kid series? Not a mystery, but pretty funny! Im not sure how old you child is, though, but my 7 and 9 yo enjoy these books.

The Mysterious Benedict Society - even *I* love these books, my 7.5 year old eats them up. They are longer than the books you listed though.

I liked the Encyclopedia Brown books when I was a kid. IIRC, they were funny & had mysteries.

My favorite books were pretty much anything by Carolyn Haywood, although they are somewhat old fashioned, so they may not appeal to her. There were several series, the one I started with was about a girl named Betsy (B is for Betsy, C is for Cupcake, Betsy's Little Star, etc).

And the Boxcar Children. I LOVED The Boxcar Children when I was a kid (though I only ever read the first one - can't vouch for the rest of the series, though I think they are mysteries).

Has she read Trixie Belden? For some reason, I always preferred Trixie to Nancy Drew.
