When to prepare what?

Okay. All the gear is put together but I'm wondering when I should wash the clothes. Blankets and diapers are already ready. I'm 31 weeks now... Is it way too early to wash them now?

I hope not. I'm 25 weeks and my baby's clothes are washed I figure anything you can do now is better than putting off for another day. One less thing to do later.

It doesn't matter if you wash them now because when I was laboring at home with my second I was nesting so bad I washed everything AGAIN *LOL* So go ahead, why not?

Honestly I'd say as soon as you feel like it since you might not later. Although, I'd only wash a few of the smaller size until you see how big, DS was out of 0-3 by 1 month. I'm glad I had already exchange a few outfits up to fit him.

I've already put out our stash of girl and boy 0-3 and 3-6 in our transition dresser and I'm I think 21 weeks. (we don't find out sex)

one of the funnest things is to wash tiny baby clothes! do it whenever you want!

By 31 weeks I had my birth kit ordered, diapers washed, blankets washed, clothes washed and almost everything (except Moby, carseat and crib) bought!

I did the clothes wash at around 29 weeks when I moved into this house. Didnt bother beforehand ONLY because I would have felt like they needed washed again after moving 1100 miles.

This made me laugh! And worried - because I can easily imagine myself doing the same... So best to postpone the washing, then, I take it, until the nesting strikes really hard....
