Eczema, ADD, and allergies

Is there a connection? My 7-year-old almost certainly would be diagnosed as ADD. He's also had eczema in varying degrees since he was a baby. My daughter had it as well, but outgrew it by the time she was three. Nicholas has it as bad as ever. We've tied varying ways of treating it-mostly lotions and prescription ointments-- but tonight I had a bit of an A ha! moment and wondered if food allergies could be at the root of both issues.

He has a physical on Monday, and I was actually going to insist that we stop just treating the eczema and try to figure out what's at the root of it, and I'm wondering if there are certain tests I should suggest.

Thanks, and I hope this makes sense!

Yes! Yes! Yes! There is a connection. This book does a fabulous job of explain the hows and whys. Also included is how nutrition can be used to heal.
