Thread Starter
I am due the beginning of June and am looking for a knitting pattern for a simple cotton cap that is knit in the round. And maybe a nice little shirt pattern too.

Namaste!

Have you looked at Ravelry.com? You have to register but it's free. Once you register, click on the Patterns tab. If you choose the advanced search option, you can isolate for knitting patterns. Hats are in the "Accessories" category. Down the page a bit, you can select the size/age range, whether the patterns are free, etc. It's a great resource!

Yes, definitely check Ravelry! There are endless options there. Here's one I found there that I think is super cute: http://20hatsproject.blogspot.com/20...h-eyelets.html

I also found this one on Ravelry and bookmarked it for later: http://lostthethread.blogspot.com/20...nleaf-hat.html

I love the little leaf detail! It would be great for a spring or summer baby.

A favorite of mine is the Umbilical Cord Hat from the Stitch n Bitch book. That one knits up pretty quickly, and it only requires a skein of worsted weight yarn (I use Sugar 'n Cream, which is 100% cotton).
