My sister is due in November with her third baby. She already has one boy- a five year old- who she had circumcised. They didn't find out the gender of this baby but I am beginning to worry about it being a boy and them circumcising him. With her first boy I was younger and not as educated so I didn't speak up about it. My mom, a nurse, did but they still chose to have him circumcised so he would "match his dad". Ugh.
I am hoping that now that they are older and perhaps more open-minded they might be willing to research it more thoroughly this time. I want to send them an email with a few links and some information but I am wondering what is the best way to word this email without coming across as judgmental and offensive (She is very easily offended)? Any suggestions for information to include?
