What do I say?

My sister is due in November with her third baby. She already has one boy- a five year old- who she had circumcised. They didn't find out the gender of this baby but I am beginning to worry about it being a boy and them circumcising him. With her first boy I was younger and not as educated so I didn't speak up about it. My mom, a nurse, did but they still chose to have him circumcised so he would "match his dad". Ugh. I am hoping that now that they are older and perhaps more open-minded they might be willing to research it more thoroughly this time. I want to send them an email with a few links and some information but I am wondering what is the best way to word this email without coming across as judgmental and offensive (She is very easily offended)? Any suggestions for information to include?

That is a page that addresses many of the myths and arguments we hear, including (possibly the most RIDICULOUS) matching daddy one...

Thank you! I had never seen that page before, I love it. So informative!

I think it depends on your sister.

With my sister I just sent her an email saying that I would drop the subject if she wanted, but that if she wanted I had lots of information for her on circumcision. Unfortunately she just wrote back and said that they had decided to do it. It pains me daily, but there isn't anything I can do about it. She's going to do it either way, so I might as well not drive that wedge between us.
