Help! Can't flush liners, what to do?

We have been using Bummi's liners and throwing away the urine soaked ones, but flushing the dirties. We have very old (almost 100 year old plumbing) and they totally clogged the pipes! Where can I dispose of the dirties so they won't stink up my house?

Help!

Well...do you have to use liners? We just scrape/dip/spray the poop into the toilet and then wash the dipe as usual. It works.

That's a bummer. It certainly helps to shorten the exposure to stinks! When DS poops and we didn't put a liner in, we just do what we did before using liners, scrape off into toilet either with toilet paper or the wipe we used, then toss in diaper pail. It's not that bad (but I do like using liners). Never was interested in the sprayer.

We can't flush tampons, but so far, flushing our liners has been ok.

you could switch to reusable microfleece liners. just get a big piece of microfleece & cut to the size you want. poop comes off fleece really easily, so you could dunk & swish it in the toilet then throw in the pail w/ the diaper.

IF you really feel the need to use disposable liners you can have a smaller, separate lined diaper pail for them.
