CP PT for a 3mo

We don't have a diagnosis yet, but my 3mo is exhibiting sign of CP (I had a full placental abruption in labor and he was hypoxic and ischemic at birth so its not a big surprise). Anyhow, we are in the county special needs program, school district program, the DAC of the hospital he was born in and we also see our own doc . So it was the DAC doc that recommended weekly PT.

He has been evaluated by the school district but won't get their results for another 3 weeks. I'd like to wait for the school PT because it is free. What can I do for him in the meantime? I'm guessing its just stretching...anyone know any specifics?

My DD had a stroke at birth and we stated Feldenkrais PT when she was 20 days old. She used to have really hypertonic hands and arms, and now at 14 months you can't tell at all. She does still have issues bearing weight on them, but we are working through it. We started with an Anat Baniel person then moved to a Feldenkrais person. They are two sides of the same practice. I found this therapy to be the most helpful thing we did in her first year.

Thank you so much! I'm so new to all this and had never even heard of either method. Your response was really helpful!
