Silly Stitch Marker Question. . . it's confusing!

Okay so I'm a so, so of a knitter! I found this amazing pattern I wanna try, it seems simple enough, but I have a really silly question for all you advanced knitters (as in knitters who have used stitch markers in different rows and such) So here is the pattern: http://www.garnstudio.com/lang/en/vi...d_id=5&lang=us

so I'm wondering when it mentions to place all 7 of the markers in their spots how do you keep from repeating-ly re-knitting them on to the needle? Like when I put stitch marker 1 on my needle, and then I get to the next row I slide it back on the the next needle and it's still in the same spot. Like do you have to some how knit the stitch marker in? If so how? I'm feeling clueless here and I'd love to finish this in 7ks b4 baby is born! Thanks for any and all help!!!

Nope, you don`t knit the stitch marker, you slip it.

So let`s say you`re knitting up to the stitch marker. Knit the last stitch before the stitch marker, slip the stitch marker (pass it from left needle to right needle without knitting) and carry on knitting after the marker.

Here`s a little video I found to illustrate.

Go ahead and give the pattern a try. Stitch markers will make sense once you start using them.
