We have a 10 week old puppy that we got at 8 weeks 2 days. The first week and a half he was doing quite good with housetraining. He was still having accident but as long as we took him out frequently and used the crate. The last 3-4 days he has been peeing constantly and having tons of accidents. We take him out and he pees and then we bring him in and 15-20 minutes later he pees on the floor with no warning. Not only that but the last few days he has started peeing in his crate too which he never did before. He peed in it 3 times today and it wasn't like he was in there that long (I have the stomach flu, he was in there 90 minutes so I could take a nap and the other times he was only in there less than 45 minutes). What is going on?? Is he stressed because I have been so sick? Is he sick? I can't handle this! We were using stardogs method of taking him out and if he pees he gets to play and if he doesn't he goes back in the crate. But now he pees after 15 minutes of being out! We can't just leave him in there 24 hours a day. And like I said, he is peeing in there now.

I've got a 10 wk old pup, too, and have been following your other puppy threads because I need advice/tips as well.
Our puppy went 7-8 hours at night w/o peeing the first couple of nights we had him (got him at 8 weeks), but then I started noticing that his blanket was wet in the a.m. That is still happening, but it's usually not a giant wet spot like you'd expect after holding it that long. I think he gets excited when he hears us, and leaks a little. Could that be what's happening w/ yours? I mean when he's peeing in his crate. This wouldn't address the constant peeing on the floor, which ours also does even if he's just gone outside.
