Fun facebook announcements

Hi mamas! I have pretty much told most people that I'm pregnant for the most part. However, I really want a fun way of making a facebook announcement! I know it may sound silly...but I am super excited to do something fun like that since we didn't really get to do something "fun" when announcing it to people.

Any ideas!? What are you doing?

I changed my profile pic to one of my dh and I when I was pg last time and then posted a status of (my name) thinks four is a nice round number. Most people got it right away!

I just changed my photo to a t-shirt that says "Baby on Board" and didn't mention it in my status. It was kind of annoying though because few people commented on it. I thought it would be highly noticeable. I don't FB that much though.

i think i'll make a photo announcement, just subtly change my profile picture to one of my son holding a sign i am going to get him to write that will say "i'm going to be a big brother!" ...but that won't be for awhile

I did not come across this until it was too late for an announcement. Was going to do it for birth announcement but that ended up being DH sending a cell photo of her to facebook lol

I just said something along the lines of, "Had two separate places get my order wrong in the past two days. You don't mess with a pregnant woman's food." And I waited to see if anyone caught on.

DH wanted to post, "Guess who I knocked up?" but decided it might offend some people, so he just said, "I can't think of anything clever to say. We're pregnant!"

I feel like I want to wait until I know the gender! A lot more people know than I wanted to know at only 8 weeks. This is going to be a LONG pregnancy now that all my relatives.

I already had one post congrats mama on my wall. I don't think anyone saw it before I deleted it.

Well, we call my 15 month old son "Meatball", and I refer to him as that often on FB. I'm going to put up there "has got another meatball in the sauce". If people don't get it, I'll clear it up for them lol.

I like the idea of a picture of an I'm Going to Be a Big Sister shirt for our youngest in my profile pict. But I was also thinking of something along the lines of, "Grand Finale debuting May 2011." See who figures it out. Or maybe I should put up both so I don't have to clarify for anyone.

I think I'll post the ultrasound picture with a text saying that it's what DD is getting for her birthday. My EDD is her birthday.
