Baby Names

I've been thinking about baby names a lot today. I haven't run them by my DH (and we never agree) but here's what I like today...

Justus (boy) or Justice (girl)
Riley (boy) or Rylee (girl)

It's the first time I've considered unisex names. I think they're kinda cool.

Anyone else have any names in mind yet?

I love flowery names! My DH never goes for them though.

We have a theme going on and so we have to have a name between 5 and 6 letters that starts with *ay so like Haylee, or but something non popular.

It makes it interesting!! I like Caymen but last I checked dh does not.

I already told my husband my top choice for a girl's name - and he already rejected it. I hope he comes around in the next 6 months!

I have a boy named picked out and i havent even considered a girl name cause I just don't feel we're having a girl. At some point i'll pick out a back up girl name, but I've got another 30 weeks for that. lol

Our girl's name is Nico Lynn. We keep fighting over a boy's name. I really like Finnegan (and call him Finn) but DH is adamantly opposed. So who knows.

for a girl we have picked out: olivia renn

for a boy we are deciding on first name, possibly oliver or henry, but middle name will be thomas (my husband's name).

my first 2 were named after family members: jack riley & nathan michael.

olivia renn is not a family name at all, but i am in love with both names.

Top 2 girl names: Bridget and Lindsey
Top 2 boy names: Miles and Sean... with Miles Bradley being the front runner.

nico and finn are some of our names too!
we aren't using them though, i don't think.
my friend might name her son finn and it has lost it's appeal to me after glee...and nico i'm just not 100% in love with anymore. plus it would rhyme with our frontrunner girl name and that is a definite no-go...i'm pretty harsh when it comes to baby names!

i think we have our frontrunners picked out but no middles yet

Dh likes Zoe and I like Georgia.

I think we both agree on Daniel for a boy but don't have any middle names yet.
Boy: Jackson Wayne ...Wayne is his dad's middle name
Girl: Allison...haven't thought of a middle name yet
post #15 of 58
Favorite girl name - Ava Rose
We both like Jackson for a boy, but that could change. Not sure on a middle name. Boys names are harder for us to agree on.
Vivienne nickname Evie for a girl and Silas for a boy.
Oliver German for a boy (German is pronounced Herman...DH 's middle name and passed down through all men in his family)

Olivia Renee for a girl

Those are our highest picks right now!

I LOVE the idea of unisex names. However, I can't bring my DH around to the idea (he is usually really open minded, I have no idea why he's not up for it).

Our 5 year old is Fionn (Irish spelling of Finn, we still pronounce it 'fin')...I hear you on the Glee thing, ryleeee. It seemed like a unique name when we picked it, and then Julia Roberts used it (a few months before my guy was born - we had already decided on the name) and the Finns hit the fan (when you have a Finn, you start noticing...there's been one on Grey's Anatomy, Gilmore Girls, and I think one other show besides Glee, can't remember). I still love it, though

We have been carrying the girl name Aibhlinn around since our first pregnancy. Not sure if it will get dusted off again...probably. Boy names are harder since we already have two boys. I am trying to talk DH into Eamon Harry (DH's grandfathers were both named Harold, so this would be a tip of the hat to them), but he doesn't seem fussy. He is always wishy washy about names this early on, though.

Me and DH never can agree on names but here are the ones I like:
Girl: Ancilina, Deniza, or Eden ( Deniza was my Great-Grandma's name)

Boys: Elias, Ephraim, Torrin

And a note for everyone who likes Jackson, I have a Jaxon and every other time we go out, I hear a parent calling out to their Jackson. It is VERY popular. In my math class one semester there were 4 of us who had a child named Jackson. All different spellings though.
