A FANTASTIC book about kids doing things when they are ready! Some adults could stand reading too...

Welp, Pickles found a great book at the library that is well below his reading level but has become a favorite (right with And Tango Makes Three)... Its called Ruby in Her Own Time and is about a baby duckling who does things a little behind her siblings, but when she is ready. She is hatches when she is ready, eats when she is ready, swims when she is ready... Its great and like I said my (advanced reading) 6.5 year old loves it. Would be good to pass around copies to "well meaning" nosey people too
