I know the cheapest route is to buy plain, undyed silks from Dharma Trading or Thai Silks, but what are the least expensive playsilks to buy that are already colored/dyed?
I think the cheapest route for silks would be looking in your closet for scarves you no longer wear, or hitting up the thrift store.
You're totally right! But I don't have any large square scarves & I don't have time, energy, nor patience to go thrifting with a baby & 3.5yo. I was just wondering if someone had already figured out an inexpensive source (i.e., an etsy shop or online merchant) for the play silks.
It probably depends on whether you were after a few singles, or whether you were after a set, and what size you were after eg small ones (11x11") or large (35x35"). Some Etsy stores offer tie-tied ones, while others are solid dyed.
I sell sets of 7 solid dyed playsilks in Australia and you can PM me for details, but you may find it easier to just do a search on Etsy and see what comes up.
