Strange dizziness this morning..normal???

I woke up this morning, I am 21 weeks along with twins, and before I got up, when I just rolled over in the bed, I was super super dizzy. I have never had this before. Never even been dizzy once during this whole pregnancy, much less like this. I had already gotten up at 6am and eaten 2 waffles and some OJ. I went back to bed at 6 30 and woke up at 9 30 with this dizziness. I got up out of the bed and it was like I was walking sideways, like I was drunk or something. I fell down on the floor and crawled back to the bed. I shook my head side to side really fast and the dizziness calmed down. I checked my b/p, it was 111/70, so fine there. I finally just got up a min ago, and while I still feel a little dizzy, its no where as bad. I drank some OJ and ate some toast a min ago. I am not sick, no cold/ear infections. What could this be?

I don't know. I've had the room spinning vertigo type dizziness 2x during this pregnancy and have no idea what caused it.

I also had the "Vertigo" like symptoms with my first pregnancy and my midwife/chiro/ob couldnt figure out what it was... it eventually went away though!

I had this with DS. I felt like I was drunk or high or something. I ended up being hospitalized for it. They ran every test they could think of (except for checking for temporary blood pressure drop which I suspect may be the culprit, it would be normal by the time they got around to checking it) They could tell when I was going to have an episode, I get very pale, but they couldn't find anything wrong.

Long and short...it sucked but I was perfectly healthy and had a perfectly healthy 8lb 9 oz boy.

I hope you don't have many more episodes.

Thanks mamas! I actually ended up feeling better by the end of the day. I ate a ton yesterday, maybe my blood sugar was low? I didnt feel hypoglycemic, no shaking/nausea, etc that I would normally get(without being preggo I have low blood sugar)..my b/p was normal all day..I did email my dr just to ask him. I am waiting on his reply. Thanks!
