Naps?

How old is your baby and how many naps does he/she take? What time are his/her naps? I'm trying to figure out if my 5 month old needs to drop his third nap.....

Cecilia, 6 months old, is still very firmly in the "awake for 2 hours" mode, so she generally takes 3 naps a day. The time all depends on when she gets up in the morning, but her first nap is 1.5-2 hours after waking up. The next one is 2 hours after the first nap, and the last one, which is often quite short (.5-1 hour) is 2 hours after the second nap. Then it's bedtime.

I'll concurr with the pp that baby would like a nap about every two (maybe 2.5) hours. She is 5 months old. However we are having some strange days where she only catnaps or doesn't nap well at all. I think the dreaded teething has begun!

DD is 9 months old and still takes 3 naps! Granted, they are most often 30-45 minute naps (an hour or so if I nap with her). I keep thinking she is going to go down to 2 longer ones but it just doesn't seem to be happening.
