im feeling like the right support belt or something similar would be really nice to have, im 25 weeks with twins and only getting bigger.

not huge now (fundal of 28cm) but starting to feel it in my lower back and feels so good when i sorta hold my lower belly up.

anyone got a favorite belt or support garment that they would recommend?

I tried on a Be Maternity support tank at Target yesterday and liked the support it gave. It was comfy but supportive and wouldn't ride down like a belly band. I tried a belly band when I was pg with my first and it never stayed in place. I like the idea of this tank better. I felt like it took weight off my back and it felt really good. I'm going to pick one up soon. This is the one I liked.

Yeah I actually have that, nice shirt, but I don't call it suportive. I'm talking about some big guns, no Bella band or such. I'm looking for something that really holds my back and belly up firmly, probably not going to be pretty

I love it so far..of course I am only 21 weeks...I am feeling the strain already!

I like the Amon Behold band. It might not be quite enough support for what you are looking for, but it is very comfy and I have started wearing one almost every day. I might try something more heavy duty as time goes on (I am assuming I will get as large as I did with my DD, where I stuck straight out...think huge on a petite person!), but I am going to see if the Amon ones might just do the trick.

Good luck.

I have the belly bra. I am 28 weeks right now. My belly is not huge, but I had extra padding before hand, so it is nice to have the support. I would consider it light support though.

It has a nice wide elastic band that goes under your belly for support, then the whole thing is stretchy and comfortable. The back is a less stretchy material, so it helps to hold your belly up.

I love it on days when I am walking around a lot. It helps make those stretching ligament pains go away, or not start at all.

This is the one I have, it's very supportive and adjustable. I used it extensively in my last pregnancy when I had SPD. IT's not too pricey and can be found easily at Babies R Us.

I have the Gabriella elastic/velcro band from Target--$30 I think. Totally worth $30! Very supportive for when I'm doing lots of standing, not good at all if you are sitting. It's pretty comfy but I've almost outgrown it (I'm 35 weeks). With twins, you might want to start with this one and get a super duper strong one for later on.
