It looks sort of turtle-ish to me, but she said it's a girl. What do y'all think? Here's the pic.

That does look like my youngest's u/s and she's all girl. There were three distinct lines. That looks more like a boy to me!

Little girls with tons of hormones flowing through them can have a swollen clitoris... I am sure the tech saw more than just that image to say that it is a girl and not a boy.

Looks awful turtley to me...which says boy. Is there another picture to compare with?

Did they give you any more photos of the genitalia? Its kind of hard to tell from that angle. Cant really see the 3 distinct lines, but I dont know that it necessarily looks like a penis to me, either.

I think that looks like a scrotum with a penis too. Did you see the 3 lines while the tech was doing the u/s?

I'm glad I'm not the only one . No, this is the only pic I have. I will return for another u/s 2 weeks from today, as she wasn't able to see the cord clearly and needed to rescan. I'll have her check again.

No, I was having a hard time gauging what she was doing, as she had to keep digging, as baby was transverse, so I don't recall seeing any gender stuff.

I sure hope the tech was right though. But, where are the lines??

Yeah i don't know either; i don't see the three lines indicating girl...hmmm

I see what could be three lines. The turtle looking part is one of the outer labia then next to that could be the inner labia but it is not supper clear then on the other side of what could be inner labia looks like another outer labia. It isn't super clear, though so I wouldn't paint the nursery yet!

I vote boy. I have a girl and there was 3 distinct white lines and I'm currently pregnant with a boy and your pic looks like my sons... Except his penis was more prominent. I had a 3d ultrasound.

Looks like a scrotum with the penis perhaps out of the picture, pointing up or something. But then I never understood DD2's "girl!" U/S result so there you go.

Hmmm, maybe a girl?? On my ds's 15 wk and 20 wk u/s, the penis looks more prominent than that relative to the scrotum (of course, all babies/people are different). It could be swollen girl parts, but that's a tough one!
