Monday Housework Accountability thread

Okay let's keep track of all the hard work we are putting into our homes today!

I sent ds off to preschool for my very own stay home day! ( I work 4 days a week there and he goes with me and i always have the option to send him on my day off as well but usually keep him home. Today I decided to send him so i can get some cleaning done!!)

So anyway,

I'm off to vacuum the living room. I'll back and keep this thread updated with things as i do them.

Anyone else want to join?

So far I have:

1.) vacuumed living room
2.) general straightening up of living room
3.) organized ds's bookshelves
4.) ate breakfast (whole wheat toast with a whole avocado smeared on top mmmm)
5.) went through old mail and recycled most of it

I need to:

Wash, dry and fold three loads of laundry
Clean all the bathrooms
Dust the stair rail
Swiffer down stairs

I had a pretty good day today. I did the grocery shopping, cleaned the toilets/sinks/mirrors in the bathrooms, cooked dinner, and scrubbed out the kitchen sink. DH pitched in and vacuumed half the house (non-bedroom areas) and mopped the bathroom floors. After I finish my tea and cookies, I think I'll work on the clutter on my desk--that's a constant battle.
