10 wk old no "seeds" in poop

She doesn't really have any other "symptoms" per se, but DD poops about once a day and it is relatively runny, orangey, with very few seeds in it. IS this ok, or should I be exploring my diet?

Sounds fine. My DD never had seedy poop.

Sounds just like dd except we only get a poop about every 3 days. It's normal if she isn't showing any signs of fussiness or belly ache.

No worries. Infant poop is anything from orange to yellow to yellow-ish green to a muddy greenish-brown. It can contain seeds, or not. It's all good, so long as there's plenty of it, when it does arrive, and as long as it's soft-- anything from peanut buttery to liquid is okay. There's a tremendous variety, as your own diet changes, and as baby's nursing frequency changes.

What you're watching out for: any sign of bloody poop, of course, because it indicates intestinal injury-- from food intolerances, or illness, or things like celiac disease or inflammatory bowel conditions. Poops that are hard or dry can mean baby is dehydrated. Frothy bright green stool can sometimes indicate that baby isn't getting enough fat-- too much lactose-rich foremilk, and not enough fatty hindmilk. Green stools can also be a passing variation, or the sign that baby is fighting off a virus of some kind. A baby under a month old should poop multiple times a day, and then the frequency tapers off.

But orangey, runny, and daily, at past two months old? Perfectly fine. Only one of my three had "seedy" poo as infants. They've all grown and thrived and been fine.
