Seattle mamas, where did you find your nanny/sitter?

I am wondering where all you lovely, crunchy mamas found your nanny/sitter.
Thanks!

I am a crunchy nanny/sitter, and I have always found my families through Craigslist, sittercity.com, and care.com. I advertise that I practice attachment parenting with my daughter and so have found similar families that way. What kind of hours are you looking for? Next year, I'm assuming from your signature?

When I had a nanny I used craigslist to find her. I was able to weed out people who weren't attachment friendly very well before the in person interview process.

I used Craigslist as well. I described my parenting philosophy in an ad, and a woman responded in such a way that I could tell that she (and her similar-aged son) would be great for my daughter. It has worked out really well- my daughter loves her nanny.

Any NW Seattle moms (Fremont, Ballard, even Wallingford) out there looking for a nanny share? I'll need one for an infant in ~May 2012.
