J.R. Ward 6 book set

So I finished all 11 sookie stackhouse books in about a month, and then finished all 4 twilight books in about a month. Im trying to read the Bree Tanner book right now, but its just not doing anything for me.

So I bought this book set from LTD Commodities. I read some reviews here, and heard good things. Im not particularly obsessed with vampires in general. Maybe its because ive read so many different vampire stories over the years, I want to see what different myths and legends someone else has come up with.

Will these vampires live forever? Go out in the light? Turn into bats?

I loved the JR Ward books! The vampires in her stories are much deeper and more interesting than in the Stackhouse books.

Each one is deeply flawed, each one has a darkness in them, each one has had a very hard life etc... I really loved her books.

I'm reading the Dark (Carpathian) series now by Christine Feehan and Im really enjoying them. There are like 20 of them in the series so, I'm guessing they're going to get formulaic but, so far, I love them. They have a very interesting twist on the whole vampire thing.

I guess that might be part of the facination. Their lives, especially the REALLY old ones.
