Registering for Diapers. What do I need??

I CD 11 years ago with my daughter and used Indian cotton pf and some fitted dipes. I had one wool cover and 6-8 covers. I did not CD at birth. I think I started when she was about 9mos or so until potty training. I no longer have any of these and am very overwhelmed with all my choices.

In my stash right now i have the following:

Gently used
6 Mother-ese Kissaluvs size 0
4 unbleached PF yellow edge
1 unbleached PF greeen edge
2 Mother-ese one size 1 bamboo and 1 Stay dry

3 New Fuzzibunz size Med (bought on sale)

I know I need more and like PF's and fitted. Pocket dipes seem 'cool' but having to stuff them sound really annoying and i dont like how the polyester feels on my skin. I would like some for babysitters, day care etc...

I really think natural fibers are easier to wash its NATURAL and you dont get the 'stink'.

So if I use a combo PF, fitted, AIO. How many should I register for? I have a wonderful local CD shop and she carries everything.

Im pretty sure I can get all I need there. HELP!! What do i need? I have info overload right now.

It is really hard to say what you might need, because everyone's perferences and/or laundry routine is different.

If you do laundry often, you can get by with less.

You are definitely going to need some sort of covers. You mentioned that you like natural fibers. Do you knit or know someone who does? You might really like knitted wool longies, shorties, and soakers. Maybe your coop has some?

For a baby registry, I would keep it simple and focus mainly on the prefolds.

Since you don't like the polyester in most AIO's, but you really want some AIO's, you might check out some of the WAHM's diapers on hyenacart or etsy that make AIO's with mostly natural fiber inserts and linings.
