Can someone help explain this to me and correct me if I'm wrong pls.
Non-IGE-mediated vs IGE mediated - does non-mediated mean is does not show up on a blood test? And does this mean it is not a true allergy but a sensitivity?
IGE vs IGG testing - does IGE test for a true allergy whereas IGG test for sensitivities? Do allergists only do IGE tests and a naturopath will do both an IGE and IGG test?
Scratch tests - how accurate are those too?
Are IGE tests always accurate? If it comes back negative and you had the food in your system at the time of the test would this then be accurate?
IGG blood test - how accurate is this for sensitivities or allergies? Or do you just use it as a guideline?
Thanks.
