Dairy Sensitivity and Frozen Milk

I have a couple of questions regarding frozen milk. My DD is 4 months old and has a dairy sensitivity. I have about 50oz in the freezer that was from when I was eating dairy and then another 50oz from when I was just beginning to eliminate dairy and then 50oz that is dairy free. I travel for my job so I need to have a lot frozen for back up, that is why I have such a large freezer stash. My DH gave my DD 8oz of milk yesterday from the bag where I was just beginning to eliminate dairy and she had a really rough day. Daycare said she had never seen her so fussy 

I hate to even think about all that milk with dairy in it going to waste so I just wanted to check with other mom’s who’s kids had a dairy sensitivity—when did you begin introducing cows milk products or milk from when you were eating dairy when no reactions were noticed?

Also, we don’t have a deep freeze so I store it in our refrigerator freezer—the standard freezer on the bottom variety. Is it true that the milk only lasts for 6 months? Does it spoil after that or can I use it as long as it doesn’t smell bad? I seriously will have a breakdown if I have to throw that milk away! I have tried giving it to my (formerly breastfed 2 year old) and she has declared it yucky no matter how I try to disguise it. I also put it on milkshare and no one wanted it because I take a prescription for my hypothyroid.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I think if you put the milk on the bottom, in the way back of the freezer, it should be OK for longer. Is your freezer the door on the bottom, or drawer on the bottom?
If it's a drawer kind, taking the milk in and out of the freezer every time you open could effect it's shelf life. (similar to storing eggs on the door of the fridge. temp changes effect quality)

I'm interested in responses, as I'm in almost the same situation! We do have a deep freeze, so I keep it in the back, but we just have SO much milk from when I was eating dairy and had oversupply.
