Should I take DD to the Doc?

She is 5 weeks old and began running a very low fever yesterday afternoon at around 1:00 pm. The fever reached it's highest point around dinnertime last night at 100.2, decreasing slowly since them. It appears to have broken sometime before 6:00 am this morning (not taken between 2:00 am and 6:00am). She has been reading a solid 98.6 or so since that time. I have an appointment scheduled for 3:00 this afternoon, but now I'm thinking that maybe I should skip it and all the sick people that go along with a trip to the doc (a large hospital-based family medicine center).

No one else in the family appears to be sick. She is breastfed. Temperature has been taken rectally. We couldn't get an appointment with our regular doc, so I'm also scheduled to see an unknown doctor (which makes me a little nervous).

What do you think? I'm torn on this one. I want to take a fever in such a small baby seriously, but I also don't want to take her to the petri dish unnecessarily.

As long as she's drinking well and no other symptoms, I wouldn't. It seems very mild to me and it seems like she is fighting something off well.
